Created in response to NATO requests for a replacement for 9×19mm Parabellum firearms, the P90 was designed as a compact but powerful firearm for vehicle crews, operators of crew-served weapons, support personnel, special forces, and counter-terrorist groups. The FN P90® submachine is a compact, lightweight weapon with a magazine capacity of 50 cartridges in 5.7x28mm NATO caliber making it the ideal Personal Defense Weapon. VARIANTS FN P90® Standard: • fitted with an integrated optical sight without magnification • the user can therefore shoot with both eyes open The P90 submachine gun was developed in the late 1980s by the Belgian Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal. It was chambered for a completely new ammunition and was intended as a personal defense weapon for non-frontline troops, vehicle drivers, tank and artillery crews. The P90 and its bullpup design look nothing like conventional submachine guns, or guns of any kind for that matter – it has a futuristic look that screams ‘cool’ and exciting features that we’ve come to expect from FN, a world-class firearms manufacturer. The FN P90® submachine is a compact, lightweight weapon with a magazine capacity of 50 cartridges in 5.7x28mm calibre making it the ideal Personal Defence Weapon.
